  We have the extended warranty on all our major appliances. When our dishwasher quit working, I called for repair. I was given an appointment, and the repairman arrived on time. Within 5 minutes he had diagnosed the problem and ordered the part to be delivered to our house. He set up another appointment, giving the part time to arrive first. At the appointed time, two repairmen arrived (one in training) and replaced the part. The 'trainer' made a suggestion as to the possible cause of the malfunction and what could prevent it in the future. All this with no extra cost to me, besides the initial extended warranty cost. Great investment! Thanks, Sears!
